This patient is a 32 year old female who presented to my practice with complaints of breasts that were unnatural in appearance. The patient had undergone prior breast augmentation and a left breast lift with another surgeon and was unhappy with the results.

I felt that a bilateral implant removal with capsulectomy and a repeat lift on the left with possible tissue removal would give the patient the best overall symmetry.

In surgery, I removed the patient's old high profile silicone implants (approximately 280cc on the right and 260cc on the left). I then performed a capsulectomy and removed all but a small portion of the capsule on both breasts. Finally, I performed a vertical lift (mastopexy) while removing a small amount of tissue on the patients left breast to improve her overall symmetry.

After surgery, the patient recovered very nicely. She was very happy with the improvement in her breast shape, symmetry and natural appearance.
