- Complex Breast Revision
A 37-year-old woman, this patient presented to my medical practice with interest in revision breast surgery and Mommy Makeover surgery. She had undergone prior breast augmentation with saline implants by another surgeon and was unhappy with the size and position of her breasts. Additionally, this patient wished to improve the appearance of her abdomen after having children.
I performed a Mommy Makeover that included revision breast augmentation, a tummy tuck, and liposuction of the flanks (love handles). During the breast procedure, I exchanged the patient's saline implants for cohesive silicone gel implants, tightened the lower breast pockets internally, and performed a vertical breast lift to give her breasts a rounder and perkier appearance. I also performed a full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with tightening of the abdominal wall and liposuction of the flanks.
