This patient is a 38 year old mother who presented to my office with complaints of breast drooping, and stretching out of her abdominal area after pregnancy.

Because this patient was already a C-cup and did not wish to be much larger, I recommended a breast lift surgery. I felt that I would be able to perform this lift using a lollipop scar technique in order to avoid an extra scar under the breast.

With regards to the abdominal region, this patient clearly had lost a tremendous amount of her elasticity due to her multiple pregnancies. I explained that she would need a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with tightening of the abdominal wall, and I also recommended liposuction of the flanks (love handles) and inner and outer thighs.

I performed a "mommy makeover" which included a vertical (lollipop scar) breast lift, a full tummy tuck, and liposuction of the flanks and inner and outer thighs. During surgery, I created a significant lift of the breasts, and tightened the abdominal wall internally by multiple inches, thereby flattening her abdomen and creating a waistline. All of the excess skin between the bellybutton to the upper pubic area was excised and tightened to help with the overall contour of her abdomen.

After surgery, the patient recovered nicely and could not believe how much better her breasts and abdomen looked. .

A MESSAGE FROM DR. COHEN’S OFFICE CONCERNING COVID-19

Dr. Cohen and his staff strongly believes that your health and safety are of the utmost importance. Additionally, Dr. Cohen feels it is his duty to do everything possible to help reduce the strain on the medical system while the coronavirus issue is present.

To that end, we are temporarily closing our office and postponing surgeries as well as in-person visits until further notice. The coronavirus escalation occurred just as Dr. Cohen was transitioning to the office of Dr. Ben Talei, the world renowned facial plastic surgeon, so once in-person examinations begin again, this is where consultations will take place (www.beverlyhillscenter.com).

In the meantime, the office will remain available for any email, telephone, or video inquiries. Additionally, due to cancelling all surgery and in-person appointments, Dr. Cohen has increased availability for virtual consultations. Feel free to schedule a virtual consultation today to explore your future aesthetic surgery options and receive expert recommendations from Dr. Cohen. Please note that 100% of all consultation fees will be donated to the Disaster Philanthropy in order to help those less fortunate during these difficult times (www.DisasterPhilanthropy.org). Stay safe and healthy and Dr. Cohen looks forward to seeing you virtually, and hopefully soon in person!
